Russell Westbrook is ready to fight the entire NBA this season. Be prepared. He may not be the biggest guy, but neither was Joe Pesci in Goodfellas. Size doesn’t matter a whole lot when all of a sudden you catch an ice pick to the throat.
Last night, in the Thunder’s preseason game against the Grizzlies, the 6’3” Westbrook didn’t take kindly to some extra contact from 7-foot center Marc Gasol after a missed shot. So he went after Gasol like his name was Billy Batts. Meaningless preseason game be damned.

After the game, when asked why he went after Gasol in such an insignificant game, Westbrook responded, “He hit me, I hit him back. I don’t play that.”
Westbrook is about to go off on the NBA like it told him to go get his shine box. Protect your neck.
