Tom Brady is a no good cockroach. The Atlanta Zoo thinks so, anyways.
They posted a video on Instagram showing they’ve paid up on their Super Bowl wager with Rogers Williams Park Zoo in Rhode Island to name one of their animals after Tom Brady, following the Falcons overtime loss to the Patriots.
They didn’t name a cool animal like a Panda or Polar Bear after Brady, instead they chose chose a Madagascar Hissing Cockroach.
The Brady cockroach is the only insect species on the planet that is half G.O.A.T. It also has incredible command of the two-minute offense.
Well … the New England Patriots won #SuperBowlLI, so that means we lost our bet with Roger Williams Park Zoo & Carousel Village. Before the game, our two zoos decided the losing side would name one of their baby animals after the winning team’s star quarterback, and figuring the losing side would be pretty bitter about it, we came to the agreement that baby animal … would be a Madagascar hissing cockroach. So without further ado – Meet our newly-named Program Animal family!
