Tony Romo should stay away from the Broncos
According to the Dallas Morning News, the Cowboys are going release Tony Romo within the next several weeks. When Romo hits the market, he’ll be the hottest free agent quarterback since Peyton Manning was released by the Colts.
Romo has reportedly narrowed his list down to a handful of teams, including the Denver Broncos. Today in The Herd, Colin said that Romo signing with the Broncos would be a bad move. They have a defensive minded rookie head coach, a bad offensive line, play in a tough division, and the winter weather would be bad for the injury-prone Romo. Colin thinks Houston is a far better situation for Romo to succeed.
“I get Denver wanting Tony Romo, they don’t think their young guys are ready. I don’t get what Tony Romo’s thinking. It would not be my choice.”
Pre-ordained dynasties like the Warriors never work out
People hate super teams like the Warriors because they fear long periods of domination. It usually doesn’t work out that way. When Kevin Durant signed with the Warriors in the offseason, the media wasted no time in crowning them an inevitable dynasty. Like so many pre-ordained dynasties, the Warriors have quickly gone from inevitable to uncertain.
Durant is no stranger to injury, and now the Warriors are getting a taste. In order to sign Durant, the Warriors had to get rid of their bigs and bench depth. Without a healthy Durant, the Warriors aren’t winning the title
“These super teams are super old teams, and we’re seeing again now in the Bay Area.”
