The Giants need to draft a QB with the 2nd pick
There have been several reports that the Giants are considering passing on a quarterback with the second pick. Colin thinks that would be a colossal mistake. The Giants rarely ever pick this high in the draft, and this is one of the best quarterback classes in years. Passing up on a chance to draft a QB – either Sam Darnold or Josh Rosen – to grow with Odell Beckham and learn under offensive minded coach Pat Shurmur would be organizational malpractice.
If they don’t, they’ll lose to Carson Wentz twice a year for the next decade.
Everyone gets better when they leave Russell Westbrook
No player is more adored by the stat-fawning NBA media than Russell Westbrook, but based on the available evidence says that everyone gets better when they leave him. Victor Oladipo, who was a non-factor with the Thunder last season, is an All-Star in Indiana, and Kevin Durant is thriving with the team philosophy with Golden State.
Meanwhile, Westbrook has been given the star support of Paul George and Carmelo, and the Thunder aren’t significantly better than last season.
