Indiana shouldn’t have fired Tom Crean

Indiana fired head basketball coach Tom Crean after a sub par season in which they failed to make the tournament. Indiana had a bad season, but Crean just won the Big Ten a year ago and they beat Carolina and Kansas this year. Colin thinks that Indiana pulled the trigger prematurely on Crean. He should have gotten another year.

The next logical question, now that Crean is out, is how long until they call UCLA head coach Steve Alford.

“I would not have fired him. They beat Kansas and North Carolina this year.”

LaVar Ball putting pressure on his kids isn’t a bad thing

LaVar Ball is catching heart for putting too much pressure on his kids. Colin thinks that putting pressure on kids isn’t necessarily a bad thing, and at the end of the day, LaVar Ball is raising good kids, and as a parent, that’s the bottom line. Also, Lonzo might be the top pick in the draft. He’s doing something right.

On the flip side, Lonzo has played poorly recently since his dad has become most vocal. If he struggles in the tournament, the controversy surrounding LaVar will only increase.
