FBI probe fallout should end the one-and-done era
A Yahoo! Sports story regarding the ongoing FBI college basketball probe identified numerous current and former college basketball players who allegedly received cash and other benefits from an agent.
Reports have stated that NBA Commissioner Adam Silver is fed up with dealing with the NCAA and having so many current NBA players implicated in the scandal reflects badly on the league. Colin thinks this latest annoyance could be the catalyst that makes Silver cut ties with the NCAA by ending the one-and-done rule, and further invest in the G-League and for high school players as an alternative to taking cash from agents while being forced to play a year collegiately.
Wizards are better without John Wall
The Wizards are 8-2 since John Wall was sidelined with a knee injury, and just took out the new look Cavs on the road in Cleveland, last night. Colin was impressed with the Wizards, especially their ball movement and balanced scoring.
Colin has never questioned Wall’s ability, but it’s clear his teammates are more engaged with him on the sidelines. Colin thinks the Washington is a better team without Wall.
