Don’t listen to the “experts” that say the Warriors will roll the Cavs
The conventional wisdom amongst the most plugged in NBA media and league front offices is that the loaded Warriors are going to beat the Cavs. Colin has heard a bunch of “expert” predictions recently, and most have been off-base.
The presidential race, stock market predictions, and the Cubs winning the World Series are just a few examples of experts misfiring on predictions.
In the case of the Cavs, regardless of what the experts say, Colin thinks LeBron is as rested as ever and always plays his best in the Finals. Experts think the Warriors will roll. If they’re wrong, it wouldn’t be the first time.
“Here’s the one thing no one is predicting. Cleveland rolls. Wins in 5.”
Kyrie Irving is more valuable than Draymond Green
A recent Bleacher Report NBA player power ranking slotted Draymond Green ahead of Kyrie Irving, and it’s driving Colin crazy. He thinks Draymond is valuable, but nowhere near as valuable as the greoup think NBA media which thinks he’s an MVP candidate. Colin thinks Irving is the more valuable of the two players because in the offense-centric NBA, Irving is the superior player across the board.
Colin pointed out that if Draymond plays poorly in the Finals, the Warriors could still win the series. If Irving plays poorly, the Cavs have no shot to win the series.
“Kyrie Irving is better and more valuable than Draymond Green.”
