Colin is back in Vegas baby! Live from the Monte Carlo on the strip.
He explains why a Raiders move to Vegas may be too close for Stan Kroenke’s comfort with the Rams in L.A. He’s a businessman, and the Raiders in Vegas could hurt his bottom line. He and his buddy Jerry jones, the NFL’s most influential owner, could work behind the scenes to block the move, despite the Nevada state legislature passing stadium funding.
“I wonder if behind the scenes, Stan Kroenke is talking to Jerry and saying, ‘We ain’t gonna make this public. I don’t want the Raiders in Vegas.'”
Colin Kaepernick has made an impact with his social stances, but he just can’t play. He’s not committed to football. He can’t even commit to putting on weight. Colin has no problem with Kaepernick’s social positions, but strictly from a football perspective, his play doesn’t justify dealing with the distraction.
Sean Payton wants pass interference calls to be reviewable. Colin thinks this is a bad idea and a slippery slope. This would make the games even longer, and would be a completely reactionary move. He does thinks all plays should be reviewable inside of two minutes, when the games are decided.
Aaron Rodgers is overly sensitive, moody and condescending. His personality is more like Jay Cutler than Tom Brady. Brian Hoyer has been better in almost every statistical category than Rodgers over the last 12 games. Brian. Hoyer.
“Aaron Rodgers is Jay Cutler with a ring.”
Alabama is rolling, and Lane Kiffin’s name is starting to be discussed for head coaching jobs. Colin says there’s a big difference between being a great coordinator and running a $400 million college football program. Colin thinks Kiffin’s future is as an NFL coach, he just doesn’t realize it. He wouldn’t give Kiffin another top college job, becuase he’s not built for it.
