Colin has Eli Manning’s back
Eli Manning is getting killed in the media for an email that was discovered in a lawsuit that appears to show Manning passed off some helmets as “game worn” when he knew they weren’t
Colin sees this as just the latest ridiculous social media engineered overreaction over nothing. It’s laughable to hear people in the sports memorabilia calling Manning out for a lack of integrity. The industry is filled with middle-aged frauds and creeps who chase down grown men in hotel lobbies for autographs.
Eli Manning isn’t the problem. The fake outrage industry is the problem. Colin is sick of it.
“I got Eli on this.”
John Calipari should get credit for changing lives
Colin has been critical of Kentucky basketball coach John Calipari on numerous occasions, but today he wanted to give him credit.
Last night’s 30 for 30, One and Not Done, showed how Coach Cal changed college basketball by putting kids into the pros faster than ever. Many view Calipari as the embodiment of everything that’s wrong with college basketball. Colin thinks he deserves credit for changing lives for kids and their families by encouraging to pursue their career in the NBA instead of giving them a guilt trip.
If a kid can go to the NBA after a year and Coach Cal helps them get there, he’s doing what’s best for their family, not his.
