Cavs will beat Boston despite getting blown out in Game 1
The Cavs got drilled by the Celtics in Game 1 in Boston, and following the game LeBron James said he wasn’t overly concerned about it. Colin thinks the game just meant more to the young Celtics, many of whom who grew up idolizing LeBron, and it showed with an emotional performance before a hyped up home crowd.
James has been through enough playoff battles to look at the bigger picture of the series without panicking over a bad Game 1 loss. He’s been here before. He still predicts the Cavs will win the series.
LeBron to the Rockets would be the best scenario for the NBA
The Rockets will take on the Warriors in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals tonight, and Colin thinks a Houston series loss would make LeBron to the Rockets a real possibility.
He thinks LeBron would be attracted to the Rockets because he could be the piece that helps them finally beat the Warriors and help them win a title. It would be the third franchise LeBron has led to a title, which would help him in his career comparison to Michael Jordan in the never-ending G.O.A.T. debate. It would also help create a counter balance to the Warriors domination in the West, and allow the Celtics and Sixers to grow as rivals in the East.
