The Pokemon Go stories are getting out of hand. Each day a new story appears, dumber than the last, about people obsessively pursuing the digital stuffed animals and getting into unprecedentedly stupid situations.
Last night, a Pokemon Go enthusiast in Baltimore decided it would be a good idea to play some Pokemon while driving around the Charm City. Apparently oblivious to his surroundings, the driver slammed into a parked police patrol car as officers responded to a 911 call.
When the embarrassed driver emerged from his vehicle he mumbled, “That’s what I get for playing this dumbass game.”
An officer’s body camera captured the crash on video, which was posted to the Baltimore PD Twitter account.

Luckily no one was seriously injured. Self driving cars can’t come soon enough with the spread of Pokemon Go.
