A fat man dressed in a red outfit delivered a Christmas present for the fans of Kansas City last night. The plus size gift bearer wasn’t Santa, it was 346 pound KC defensive lineman Dontari Poe.
With just over a minute left in the fourth quarter, and the Chiefs up 17, Poe lined up at quarterback, and put the nail in the defending Super Bowl champ’s coffin with a goal line jump pass touchdown pass to Demetrius Harris. Kansas City won the game 33-10.
Who spiked boring Andy Reid’s punch bowl? Let’s party.
Poe is a large human. He’s on the Mount Rushmore of sports for athletes who roughly resemble Mount Rushmore. He was also blessed with the nimble feet of a Bolshoi ballerina that allow him to make super athletic plays like this. It’s beautiful to watch.
Several reports indicate that the Texans are interested signing Poe to a $72 million free agency contract in the offseason. Updates coming.
