A terminally ill Texas man has a dying wish. He wants you to call him. Or text him. He doesn’t have much time and it would make his day.
47-year-old Lee Hernandez is an 18-year Army veteran who served tours in Iraq, but he is under hospice care due to deteriorating health from three brain surgeries. Unfortunately, there is nothing doctors can do to save him.
Lee’s wife Ernestine found that the one thing that makes him happy is when he receives a call or a text because he knows someone is thinking about him, so she posted Lee’s dying wish and their phone number to a Facebook forum. The outpouring of support he’s received has made a huge difference.
If you want to make Lee’s day, his number is 210-632-6778. Per his wife, if you want to call, do so between 5pm – 8pm EST. Texts can be sent anytime.
Nobody wants to feel alone. Pay it forward.
