Notre Dame Guard Quenton Nelson is almost unanimously considered the best offensive lineman in the draft, and some have him rated as the draft’s best overall player. He’s drawn “can’t miss’ comparisons to Cowboys guard Zach Martin, also from Notre Dame. Based on most projections, Nelson won’t make it past Tampa at 7, or the Bears at 8. According to some reports, he could be in play for the Giants at 2 if they pass on a QB.
The 6’5” 330 road grader has an extra nastiness you can’t teach, and seems to get a kick out of demoralizing opposing lineman by sitting on them until the whistle. It’s extremely entertaining to watch..
Here’s Nelson obliterating a blitzer against Georgia.

Here’s another stack of pancakes:
Quenton Nelson is addicted to driving players into the ground and dirtying their jersey. He is a bully on the field💪
