Yesterday, the Nedbank Challenge golf tournament in Sun City, South Africa briefly turned into a scene from Jumanji, when a pack of wild mongoose invaded a putting green during tournament play.
The mongoose displayed impressive golf etiquette by not moving the balls resting on the green during the stampede. Golf clap.
About 20 mongoose invade the green…
But they know not to interfere with the ball. 👏👏 https://t.co/EBdpVc803Z

Like all viral internet stars, the mongoose have apparently let the viral fame go to their head. They showed up again today and mugged it up for the cameras in a desperate attempt to hang on to their 15 minutes. They are the Ken Bone’s of the animal kingdom.
Return of the Mongooses!
