Game 4 of the Russell Westbrook and the Thunder’s first round playoff series against the Jazz was an unmitigated disaster. OKC was dismantled in every conceivable fashion in front of the responsibly sauced crowd in Salt Lake. Westbrook scored 23, but was outplayed by rookie Donovan Mitchell, and by the end of the game was in full meltdown mode.
Things went from bad to worse when Republican presidential candidate – and current U.S. Senate candidate – Mitt Romney started heckling Westbrook picked up his fourth foul late in the second quarter. Romney, who enjoys sport, unleashed the trash talk while wearing a Jazz jersey with his own name on the back over his button down. He reportedly thought the game was the bees knees, and seemed to enjoy mixing with the commoners.
Any way you slice it, when Mitt freakin’ Romney is letting you have it, you’re losing. What a night in Utah. The Jazz now lead the series 3-1.
