Actor, comedian, producer, podcast host, and James Dolan hating Knicks superfan, Michael Rapaport stopped by The Herd today and packed a week’s worth of NBA hot takes into a furious 15-minute interview.
Rapaport immediately went after Colin over his long-term bro-mance with “LeBron Blames,” and pinpointed “The Decision” as the beginning of the “skinny jeanification” of the NBA.
Even though he personally despises LeBron, he still admits he would rank him as the 2nd best NBA player of all-time, behind Jordan and ahead of Kobe.
“He ain’t ever gonna be Jordan.”
Rapaport also used the interview as an opportunity to nuke the legacies of NBA legends like Bill Russell and Oscar Robertson. He thinks the accomplishments of Russell and the Big O are completely overrated because they dominated a collection of local milkmen and insurance salesman.
Don’t talk to me about Bill Russell and that time. He was playing against “The Corn Beef King of Long Island,” that’s who he won his titles against.
And Oscar Robertson with his triple-double, he was playing against guys that were podiatrists in the offseason.”
He also called Russell, “The winningest athlete of all-time, and the most overrated NBA player. He’s not even in my Top 10.”
