It’s been established that Jim Harbaugh marches to the beat of his own marching band. The University of Michigan Head Coach has always walked the fine line between brilliant and insane, and last night he provided further insight into the mind of a mad genius.
Every kid loves bringing their glove to a baseball game, it’s an American tradition. It could be that special night where a foul or home run ball comes your way, so you might as well be ready to make a play and grab a souvenir. Keep your head on a swivel, Junior.
One non-child that loves bringing the leather to the old ball game is Jim Harbaugh. He was spotted during Game 5 of the World Series last night, sitting next to his wife and Dad, with his trusty ball glove in tow.
Harbaugh is a strange bird, but who’s going to tell him he can’t bring a glove to a game at 52 years old? No one. He may Temple of Doom your beating heart directly out of your chest.
When asked why he brought the glove to the game, Harbaugh matter-of-factly responded, “Gotta bring the leather to the game. Have to.”
Intense. Competitor. Excuse him for wanting to create lasting memories through preparation and excellence.
