You could make a movie about Jim Harbaugh’s tales from the recruiting trail. It’s like a one-off plot from Vacation. There are no lengths to which he won’t go to land a prized recruit for the Wolverines.
After all, anyone who still brings his baseball glove to the ballgame at 50 years old has to be a kid at heart. Harbaugh has already foregone stuffy living room sitdowns in favor of a sleepover and climbing a tree in a recruit’s backyard.
Yesterday, he was spotted on a recruiting visit with 5-star defensive tackle Aubrey Solomon out of Leesburg, Georgia. They were racing go-karts.
Harbaugh scooped up the tiger car and brought Solomon’s daughter along as his co-pilot. Who is gonna top that? None, is the correct answer. Cancel the pony rides Urban Meyer.
This isn’t an act. Jim Harbaugh is really crazy, and it’s the best thing to happen to college football in the last 5 years. He is a man of many faces and many emotions. Today, he was Clark Griswold.
