Convicted child molester and former Penn State Defensive Coordinator Jerry Sandusky’s adopted son, Jeffrey Sandusky, was arrested in Pennsylvania on child sexual assault charges today.
According to the New York Post, the younger Sandusky faces 14 criminal counts, including solicitation of involuntary deviant sexual intercourse, unlawful contact with minors, and solicitation of statutory sexual assault.
Sandusky allegedly sent inappropriate text messages and solicited explicit nude pictures from multiple teenage victims. According to multiple reports, Sandusky dated the mother of one of the victims and lived in the home. The explicit text messages were allegedly discovered by the father of the one of the victims.
For clarification purposes, it was not Jeffrey, but another adopted son, Matthew Sandusky, who testified to being molested by Jerry Sandusky at his criminal trial.
Jeffrey Sandusky is being held at Centre County Correctional facility. His bail is set at $200,000 and he is barred from contact with minors.
