Duke guard Grayson Allen is fresh off his latest suspension for tripping an Elon player, in what has become college basketball’s most covered ongoing subplot. Allen was indefinitely suspended – for one game – for the incident, and now his every move on the court is the subject of potential scrutiny.
Last night, the Blue Devils took on Florida State, one of Allen’s first tripping victims from last year. With 6 minutes left in the second half, he saved a ball as he fell out of bounds into the FSU bench. The replay shows Allen falling into an assistant coach seated on the bench, and seemingly giving him an extra, unnecessary shove, which caused him to fall to the ground.
You be the judge, but it sure looks like Allen has added shoving people to his floor game.
Scouts in attendance were reportedly impressed with Allen’s performance. Unfortunately, they were from the UFC.
