It’s long been established that Hall of Famers Isiah Thomas and Michael Jordan don’t like each other. The Pistons and Bulls arch rivalry in the late 80’s and early 90’s was a bloodsport that fostered the dislike between the two. It’s an accepted truth that Michael kept Thomas off the original Dream Team out of spite. The old Eastern Conference rivals’ beef is as old as crotch hugging basketball shorts.
Last night, the alma maters of the two rivals squared off when Jordan’s Tar Heels traveled to Bloomington to take on Thomas’ Indiana Hoosiers . The #10 Hoosiers managed to pull the 76-67 over the #3 Tar Heels at Assembly Hall.
After the game, Thomas, who was in attendance, took advantage of an opportunity to troll his long time rival by hijacking a giant Crying Jordan sign from the stands and holding it up to the Indiana fans. Thomas had a giant grin as he played to the crowd. There’s no video, but a tweet was sent out that captured the moment.

Thomas’ actions come off as somewhat petty under the circumstances, but old rivalries die hard. Unfortunately for Jordan, so does his internet meme.
