With only week until the NFL Draft, the disinformation from NFL teams and over analysis prospect has reached peak silly season. Among the biggest questions heading into the draft is which quarterback the Browns will take with the first pick.
According to a number of reports, Wyoming’s Josh Allen is firmly in the mix to go #1, but today in The Herd, FS1 College Football Analyst Joel Klatt told Colin that he doesn’t see any valid argument based on his evaluation to take Allen over Sam Darnold, Baker Mayfield, or Josh Rosen.
Klatt added that he would take Louisville’s Lamar Jackson over Allen because at least he regularly dominated his competition. When he watched Allen’s tape, he never saw a single game where Allen was the dominant player, in addition to his serious accuracy issues and inability to anticipate throws.
Allen is the most polarizing boom or bust prospect in the draft, and Klatt is calling bust. Watch the Klattster explain why the honorable mention quarterback in the Mountain West has no business going #1.
