After decisive road losses in Games 3 and 4 in Toronto, the Cavs were aggressive early. The King was in closeout mode.
LeBron had some choice words for Raptor super fan Drake, who engaged in extensive social media trash talk throughout the series.
The Cavs led by 14 at the half. At the end of the third, Kyrie Irving nailed a 75 footer. The heave didn’t count, but it was clearly the Cavs night.
The Cavs buried the Raptors in the fourth quarter. They outscored the home team 27 – 13, and put the game firmly out of reach. The Big 3 of LeBron, Irving and Love, led the Cavs with 33, 30, and 20, respectively.
The party was on for the Eastern Conference champs.
The Cavs will face the winner of the Western Conference Finals at full strength. it’s a stark contrast from last year, when they limped into the Finals against Golden State with a severely hobbled Irving, and without Kevin Love.
