Get Vaughn up.
Momentum has been building on social media for Charlie Sheen, who played the role of the iconic pitcher “The Wild Thing” Ricky Vaughn in Major League, to throw out the first pitch for Game 1 of the World Series in Cleveland on October 25.
Sheen posted a tweet saying that if called upon, he’s ready to go.

Aside from Sheen’s well documented chaotic personal life, he’s a die hard baseball fan who has shown incredibly impressive baseball skills for an actor. He showed up at a commercial shoot in 2008 dressed in his Major League Indians uniform and casually jacked a home run at Dodger Stadium into the bleachers.
It’s unknown if he would recreate his entrance from his relief appearance from the movie, but if he did, it would almost certainly get Progressive Field shaking to the point of near collapse.
This could be a disaster, but it could be incredible. There’s still no word on whether Willie “Mays” Hays will be in attendance.
