Fans running onto the field are a special kind of idiot. Pay a bunch of money to get a ticket just so you can run onto the field for five seconds and get de-cleated by a pissed off player, or gang tackled by security. Sounds like a good time.
During last night’s Rams/Niners Monday Night Football opener, one unstable, shirtless man’s run for glory shattered all previous records, and even received the in-game play-by-play treatment from radio announcer Kevin Harlan. He gets into the call like it’s the go-ahead touchdown run in a playoff game. The guy ran forever.
The fan was eventually tackled by the slowest security detail in the history of stadium security and arrested.
Ram’s Head Coach Jeff Fisher reportedly liked the kids speed and thought he might be an upgrade at his team’s skill positions.
