Golden State star Draymond Green has always walked the fine line between chippy and just plain dirty. Teammates love him, opponents hate him.
In Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals Sunday night, Green continued to walk that line. He may, or may not, have intentionally kicked Oklahoma City seven foot New Zealander Steven Adams directly in the Kiwi. To his credit, Adams recovered from the vicious shot and amazingly hit two free throws.
Green was hit with a Flagrant Foul 1 for the nut punt, but not ejected. The Thunder blew out the Warriors 133 – 105 to take a 2 – 1 series lead. It remains to be seen whether the NBA league office will review the play and suspend him for Game 4.
Was the low blow intentional? You be the judge.
