The upcoming NFL Draft picture became clearer last night when both Sam Darnold and Josh Rosen declared for the draft, just an hour apart. Colin thinks both made the right decision to go pro, and today he predicted how the Top 3 will play out.
At #1, Sam Darnold is the perfect fit for the Browns. He’s a big enough to withstand the cold weather, can make plays with his feet, and has a Midwestern work ethic, despite being from Sam Clemente. Between Rosen and Darnold, Colin thinks Darnold has the least bust potential and highest upside. Even the Browns shouldn’t be able to screw this one up.
Josh Rosen is a great fit for the Giants at #2. He’s a better pure passer than Darnold right now, and has the personality to deal with the intense media in New York. He’s big enough for the room. This isn’t hard.
At #3, Andrew Luck finally gets a productive running back in Saquon Barkley for the first time in his career. It’s the perfect pick to take the pressure off Luck coming off an injury.
Watch Colin explain why the Top 3 picks should be no-brainers.
