In the NFC East, Colin loves the Cowboys and the Eagles. He picked Philly to win the NFC East. He likes both because they have a clear cut identity with arguably the two best offensive lines in the NFL, and are led by two of the most promising young quarterbacks in the NFL, in Dak Prescott and Carson Wentz.
With Philly and Dallas fighting for the top spot in the division, he thinks the Giants will be the odd man out of the playoff picture, despite a solid defense and superstar Odell Beckham.
He doesn’t like their running game, isn’t sold on head coach Ben McAdoo, or their o-line, and thinks they rely too heavily on OBJ, who’s not 100% to start the year. It also doesn’t help that they head to Dallas to face the Cowboys at full strength with Ezekiel Elliott in Week 1.
Colin predicts the Giants will be solid, but they’ll miss out on the playoffs this year.
