The Cavs and LeBron James are struggling down the stretch, and just dropped to second place in the East after an ugly 29-point loss to the Spurs last night. The headlines this morning are proclaiming that the Cavs are in trouble, but Colin disagrees.
Today in The Herd, Colin said that regardless of Cleveland’s struggles, they’ll still breeze through the Eastern Conference playoffs into the Finals, even if they end up as the two seed. LeBron already won a title as a two-seed with the Heat in 2012 with the Heat.
Colin pointed out that as a two-seed, the Cavs would likely end up facing the Pacers, who are considerably less dangerous opponent than the Heat would be as the 8-seed.
Either way, no one is stopping LeBron and the Cavs in the East, even if they don’t have home-court advantage against the Celtics in the conference finals. It might be a good idea to start playing some defense, though.
Watch Colin’s full rant:
It doesn’t matter what seed the Cavs get. They’re still going to the Finals.
