Bill Belichick never gets the bad end of a deal, which is why so many were shocked when the news broke that he shipped Jimmy Garoppolo to San Francisco for nothing more than a 2nd round pick. Colin thinks he knows why, and it all stems from Belichick’s resentment over being forced to stick with 40+ Tom Brady, reportedly by directive of owner Robert Kraft.
Colin explained that he believes Belichick wanted to keep Garoppolo and deal Brady, as he’s done with almost every other aging Patriot star, and when he was overruled by Kraft, he let Garoppolo go for next to nothing out of spite for being forced to trade away the future and fly blind with an aging Brady.
Watch Colin break down his theory on why the Jimmy G deal was a product of Bill wanting to stick it to Kraft. The Hoodie never forgets.
