Just weeks after being drafted by the Chiefs, rookie quarterback Pat Mahomes was reportedly robbed at gunpoint in his hometown of Tyler, Texas on Friday night. He was unharmed.
According to the Smith County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a call where four people were robbed by a man as they exited the vehicle after pulling into a driveway at a residence. One of the individuals was identified as Mahomes. The assailant allegedly motioned to his waistband as he approached the group, indicating he had a gun. The suspect stole property from the victims.
Michael Blake Pinkerton, 34 (right below), and Billy Ray Johnson (left below), 58, have been arrested in connection with the robbery. Property stolen from the victims was located in the suspect vehicle. It’s unknown what specific role of each of the arrested men played in the robbery at this time.
