ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne was first to report that the Pacers have completed a trade that will send Paul George to Oklahoma City in exchange for Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis.
The threat of Paul George walking after one year and heading to L.A. apparently wasn’t enough of a deterrent to prevent OKC GM Sam Presti from pulling the trigger on the deal.
The Thunder hadn’t been mentioned among the teams pursuing George, but now he’ll join Russell Westbrook in the most significant roster upgrade since Kevin Durant departed for Golden State a year ago.
