The manhunt for Steve Stephens, the individual who broadcast the murder of 74-year-old Robert Godwin in Cleveland on Facebook Live this past Sunday, is over.
According to GoErie.com, Stephens died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in his white Ford Fusion in Eerie, Pennsylvania as state police closed in at 11:10 AM this morning.
Stephens’ death concludes a massive manhunt since news of his live broadcast murder broke on Sunday.
Steve Stephens was spotted this morning by PSP members in Erie County. After a brief pursuit, Stephens shot and killed himself.
