A large majority of the people watching today’s solar eclipse with glasses to protect them from potentially going blind. Boston College head football coach is not among those people.
Addazio is out to prove how soft everyone’s become by staring down the eclipse without any eyewear, and thinks this whole “protective glasses” thing is a sham. He’s so confident, he’s willing to risk his retinas to prove it.
He keenly observed that if everything went blind by looking at the eclipse, animals would go blind, too. Checkmate.
We’ll know how this one turned out shortly. Either Addazio will have the last laugh, or he’ll be writing his game plans in braille this year. To be honest, even if he did coach BC while blind it would be hard to tell the difference.
“So are all the dogs and all the horses and all the animals gonna be blind tomorrow?”
