Fresh of his most recent Super Bowl win, Bill Belichick may be headed directly for a murder trial to start the offseason.
His former tight end – and homicidal maniac – Aaron Hernandez’s defense team has listed Belichick and Josh McDaniels on a pre-trial witness list filed in Suffolk Superior Court in Massachusetts. Belichick’s name officially appears as William Belichick. Pittsburgh center, and Hernandez’s former University of Florida teammate, Maurkice Pouncey also appears on the list.
Obviously, Belichick and McDaniels are character witnesses and didn’t actually witness the crime.

Hernandez faces two murder charges for killing Daniel Jorge Correia de Abreu, and Safiro Teixeira Furtado in their car after a 2012 altercation in a night club. He’s already serving a life sentence for the murder of Odin Lloyd in 2013.
Hernandez last played for the Patriots in 2012.
