After the video of 32-year-old, 10-year D League vet Andre Ingram getting surprised with his first NBA contract from Magic Johnson went viral, everyone from casual fans, to teammates, to opponents like Chris Paul were rooting for the him in his first NBA game against the Rockets. He nailed his debut with an impressive 19-point performance.
To commemorate his first day on the job the Lakers social media team documented the entire incredible experience, and set it to some tear inducing piano music.
