Brody Chernoff, the 6-year-old son of Indians general manager Mike Chernoff, joined longtime Cleveland play-by-play man Tom Hamilton in the booth during the 9th inning of the team’s spring training game against the White Sox.
Things got a little awkward when Hamilton’s line of questioning turned to Brody’s dad’s GM job. The adorable kid recounted how his dad stayed up late into the night trying to get the Edwin Encarnacion deal done. He also mentioned that pops was “trying to get Lindor to play for seven more years.” One problem. That information was not previously known by the public. Loose lips sink ships kid.
