The video of Oklahoma star quarterback Baker Mayfield’s arrest in Fayetteville, Arkansas for public intoxication and resisting arrest from in the early morning hours of February 25th has been released.
It’s about what you would expect form preliminary descriptions of the incident. Mayfield was drunk and mouthing off to the cops before attempting to make a drunken run for freedom.
It’s impressive game film for the Fayetteville police officers who made the collar. They showcased elite closing speed and sure tackling to ensure Mayfield didn’t break a long one. During the take down, Mayfield’s head slammed against a retaining wall, but no penalty flag was thrown for roughing the passer.
