5,000,000 fans are expected for a Cubs’ World Series parade today in Chicago, a century in the making. Amateur weather forecasters previously predicted a chilly day for the parade, which many thought would coincide with hell freezing over. The parade route will end with a rally at Grant Park.
After 108 years, Cubs fans are ready to party. An aerial shot of well wishers frantically rushing through the gates to the parade route provided some scope to the size of the celebration to come.
