Yesterday was college football’s National Signing Day, and while the traditional powerhouses like Ohio State and Alabama duked it out over the top 5-star recruits in the nation, it was Illinois State that landed the prospect with the best name in the class, by a mile.
The Redbirds scored a commitment from 6’7” offensive tackle Kobe Buffalomeat, out of Lawrence, Kansas. He may not be a 5-star recruit, but he’s got an 8-star name.

If the NCAA ever pays the athletes fairly for their names, Buffalomeat will be a insta-gazzillionaire. His jersey may eclipse Odell Beckham’s in the NFL.
Here’s some film of Buffalomeat pancaking unsuspecting opposing defenders. He wasn’t 1st Team All-Sunflower conference last year for nothing.
Illinois State. They have The Meat.
Welcome to @RedbirdFB: Kobe Buffalomeat
